Customers outside of the EU and registered companies are exempt from paying EU VAT.

However, please be advised that in your home country, local import duties and VAT might be applied.

We, as an exporting company, do not take responsibility for VAT and Import duties or any Taxes charged in the country of delivery outside of the EU. Therefore, we recommend that you confer with us or with your local authorities.

  1. VAT Refunds

Clients from outside the EU are entitled to receive a Full VAT Refund on any items purchased in the EU, provided that the goods are shown to the Customs upon departure from the EU together with the purchase invoice.
Conditions:
Visitors must provide proof of their non-EU residence status (e.g. non-EU passport)
Goods must be exported from the EU within 3 months of their purchase
Minimum value of purchase from Belgium-Diamonds.net is 125.00 Euros.

VAT Refund Procedure:

At the departure zone in the airport, you must show the items purchased to the customs accompanied by the documentation named above.
After the check, Customs will validate your purchase invoice with a Customs stamp. Please send us a copy of the stamped invoice by email to the following address: contact@belgium-diamonds.net

(EU-Customs will consider you a non-EU resident if you have proof you live in a country outside the EU for at least six months per year. This is automatically proven if you are not registered in the EU as a resident. Customs can check if you are registered in the EU through a database. A legal document stating your residency in a non-EU country is also enough proof like a visa or work permit.)

To refund the VAT amount, you need to send the original stamped purchase receipts along with your bank details back to Belgium-Diamonds.net.

Belgium-Diamonds.net offers Full VAT Refunds.

Customers selecting to receive a full refund immediately following Belgium-Diamonds.net  receipt of refund from tax authorities. Since the tax authorities make refunds on a quarterly basis, a full refund can take 1-4 months. Depending on the date of reception of the stamped original invoice this is a timetable of refunds. These occur every Quarter.

Quarter 1: Belgium-Diamonds.net receives stamped invoice by April 8th. Refund will be paid between late May-mid June.
Quarter 2: Belgium-Diamonds.net receives stamped invoice by July 8th. Refund will be paid between late August-mid September.
Quarter 3: Belgium-Diamonds.net receives stamped invoice by October 8th. Refund will be paid between late November-mid December.
Quarter 4: Belgium-Diamonds.net receives stamped invoice by January 8th. A refund will be paid between late February-mid March.

Express VAT Refund.

Customers selecting this option can receive 80% of refunded VAT-amount, 8 working days following receipt of the stamped invoice by Belgium-Diamonds.net. This option is conditional upon acceptance by Belgium-Diamonds.net.

Switzerland Tax Free Diamonds

Buying from Belgium-diamonds.net is easy for Swiss residents. Swiss customers are exempt from paying VAT. When buying from Belgium-diamonds.net you will enjoy natural diamonds at competitive prices and one of the largest selections of Natural Certified diamonds available. Delivery takes between 1-3 working days. You will receive your Jewelry directly at your doorstep. All our shipments are fully insured and guaranteed. Delivery is free for purchases over 3,000 Euros. Under 3000 Euro a 65-Euro delivery charge will be added to your shopping cart.
Upon arrival in Switzerland, your package may pass through customs, you will be required to pay 8% import tax. USA Tax Free Jewelry Purchases

Unlike diamonds there is a tax on jewelry imports into the USA.
Jewelry will carry the below cost:
Entry fee $120.00
Duty 5.5% of the value invoiced
MPF 0.34% of the value invoiced
Single entry bond $3.50 per $1000 invoiced.

For example, a $10,000 jewelry purchase will carry $739 in fees.
This will be paid to courier before reception of your shipment.

Australia Tax Free Diamonds
